 Scottish Driving Law

- James Madigan, London, at Dumfries Justice of the Peace Court

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help with regard to my recent driving offence. I have found Scottish Driving Law to be professional at all times and would not hesitate in recommending you to anyone who faces a driving conviction.

- Doreen Harley

My son was involved in an accident and he was advised it was likely he would get charged with careless driving. I contacted Scottish Driving Law and got invaluable free advice both over the phone and via email, whilst waiting to hear if the charge was going to court.

The law is complicated and Joe explained everything explicitly in simple terms and never at any time did I feel apprehensive about getting him to explain things again.

I would advise anyone looking for information to contact Joe.

- Don Lees, Glasgow Sheriff Court

Many thanks for your efforts and preparation in putting the case forward.  I couldn’t have asked for better.  I will definitely recommend you to any persons I come across with driving complaints, etc.  Again, thanks.

- James Babbington-Smith, Edinburgh JP Court

“After my involvement in a traffic accident I contacted Scottish Driving Law.  Joe McPherson called me and advised me on the way ahead. His advice was objective and professional. He took considerable trouble to understand the events and thereby helped me resolve the problem. I would not hesitate to approach Joe again if it was ever required.”

- Dave Morven, Hamilton JP Court

I would highly recommend Joe at Scottish Driving Law to anyone facing the stress of being prosecuted.  Joe really got into the detail of the case, right from the start which gave me a lot of confidence.  He had a very determined attitude.  I was accused of jumping a red light, which was totally unfair and I got a Not Guilty result.  Excellent work and an excellent result.  Thank you.

- A Akhtar, Dumfries JP Court

Scottish Driving Law was a pleasure to be with, the service is top quality and the outcome of my case was what I wanted and was able to keep my job, thank you again Joe for helping me, I’m in debt to you.  Highly recommend to anyone who want to save their licence you will be glad you did use their services, don’t hesitate use them…

- DV, Software Engineer, Edinburgh JP Court

Thank you for your quick and professional service that provided a favourable outcome over my charge of doing 51 in a 30 limit.

- John McCarry, Lanark JP Court

Thank you very much for taking care of my recent case. I asked you to represent me, at very short notice, to take over from another lawyer who I’d used for four months. Within a week you had a positive result, keeping me informed and up to date at every stage. Your help was greatly appreciated and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone! Excellent service from start to finish!

- A Grewal, Dumfries JP Court

Would recommend Joseph to any one excellent correspondence from the start right up to the end an update at every stage regarding the matter and helpful in every way. Had an excellent outcome and represented on my behalf. Thanks

- Cliff Austin, Kirkcudbright JP Court

In a world that can be stressful and challenging, it is encouraging to know there are truly person-centered professionals who are prepared to take the time and effort to make a difficult situation manageable.

Joe McPherson is one such and I am truly grateful for the time energy and expertise, he brought to bear in my recent court case. It seemed fairly clear that i was facing a driving ban in the Kirkcudbright court, which has never not banned a motorist for a speed in excess of 90mph, let alone 98mph.  Thanks to the stirling work and meticulous attention to detail which Joe brought to bear an outcome of 6 penalty points and a £500 fine was a godsend. It has meant that my work as a community psychiatric nurse has not been disrupted and has not adversely affected my patients or other team members.

The work that I do and my role and responsibilities are difficult to understand and even more difficult to explain in a concise manner in a court of law.  Joe demonstrated a masterful understanding of the complexities and was able to cogently express these to the court  in mitigation.

His time and effort and the clarity of his fee structure meant that from the outset I had a clear understanding of costs involved.

I would not hesitate to recommend Joe to others, who find themselves in similar circumstances. His comprehensive and realistic understanding of the law and professional manner are complemented by him being a genuinely nice fella.
